JCU prof killed in bicycle accident

(University Heights) - John Carroll University is mourning the death of a biology professor killed when his bicycle collided with a sport utility vehicle east of Cleveland.
The accident involving 58-year-old Miles Coburn of Cleveland Heights occurred Saturday morning along a rural highway in Geauga County.
Coburn taught at John JCU for 30 years. He was a cycling enthusiast and rode his bicycle 5,000 miles a year.
No charges have been filed in the accident.
